By providing a strong and collective voice, the Association is able to speak on behalf of the industry and thereby open doors and ensure that serious consideration is given at all levels to the vies it advances.
KSCAA maintains a close rapport with the Ministry of Communication, the Kuwait Ports Authority, the Kuwait Customs Authority, and The Kuwait Chamber of Commerce.
KSCAA is respected as an authoritative voice within the Kuwait Shipping Industry for promoting the viable and effective growth of the Maritime Sector on behalf of Ship Owners, Managers and Agents, and their customers.

About KSCAA

Kuwait Shipping companies & Agents Association Was formed on Kuwait, on 19 shaaban 1390 Hejri, corresponding to 20th of October/1970, under the labor law No. 38/1964 – and registered at Ministry of Social Affaires & Labor with number 19 on the dated 20/10/1970, and published in the official Gazette, Al-Kuwait Al-Youm, the permanent head quarter is Kuwait.

Objective of the Association

  • To protect all the legal interests of the members and the shipping related matters.
  • To work for lifting the standard of shipping services in Kuwait and developing them as to give benefit to the members.
  • To take up the necessary steps with the competent authorities and departments for maintaining the public and member’s interest.
  • To provide the necessary advice and assistance to the members when requested by the relevant parties.
  • To work for strengthening the cooperation bonds between the members and solution of the problems that may arise among them and with others.
  • Strengthening the relationship between the Association and other similar Associations in Arab and foreign countries.
